K-12 Education

Hands-On Learning Rooted in Agriculture
The 4Roots K-12 Education programs immerse students in hands-on experiences that spark curiosity about where food comes from and how it’s grown. Through interactive learning, we inspire the next generation to explore exciting career paths in the food and farming industries. By engaging young minds early, we’re cultivating future farmers, chefs, and food system leaders who will champion sustainability and healthy communities for future generations.
School Farms: Growing the Future
The 4Roots Farm-to-School Program is transforming local K-12 campuses into thriving, hands-on learning environments. By building greenhouses, hydroponic systems, and raised garden beds, we’re giving students the tools to grow and harvest fresh, healthy food right at school.
It doesn’t stop there – students see their hard work come full circle as a portion of the harvest is donated to the community, while the rest is served in their own cafeterias, creating a farm-to-table experience like never before.
