PEPSICO JOINS OUR TEAM!

September 2022

We are proud to announce PepsiCo has become a Founding Member Sponsor of 4Roots. They will be the exclusive in-category beverage provider on the Farm Campus and have naming rights for the Education Center, among other various activation opportunities.

Their generous donation will support Phase I

construction of the Farm Campus which features four 30-seat flexible lab classrooms for hosting students, teachers, families, farmers, health

care professionals, and more offering hands-on learning activities related to food, farming health, and sustainability. Students will learn about the most cutting-edge technologies in agriculture and farming.

Thank you, PepsiCo, for helping us build a healthier future!

Working Together for Edgewater High School

On September 10th, the 4Roots team, along with students, teachers, community volunteers, and partners, came together to beautify the Edgewater Agriculture Center. The Center, founded in 2019, serves Edgewater High School agriculture students who learn about practices, including growing produce and raising chickens.

The goal of the event was to showcase the school’s agriculture programs as well as make improvements to the facility. This included setting up fencing, expanding the chicken coop, and planting ornamental and fruiting trees.

Thank you to Wild Goose Farms for donating blueberry plants, Dale with Botanical Interests Seeds in Florida for donating seeds, Ace Hardware in College Park for donating irrigation supplies, and the many others who made the day a success.
