4Roots Receives $200,00 from Humana Foundation
The Humana Foundation recently announced a series of grants advancing its health equity mission of supporting seniors, veterans, and school-aged children in living connected, healthy lives. The 23 grants, spanning four geographic areas, including Florida, totaled $12.9 million. 4Roots was one of four grants awarded in the state of Florida, receiving $200,000 to be used to provide nutrition education and plant-forward/heart-healthy meals for low-income seniors at risk for food insecurity.

Giving Tuesday
On Giving Tuesday, 4R Smokehouse customers rounded up their meals to the next dollar, raising $1,000 for 4Roots. Additionally, online, 4Roots raised over $1,000 from grateful donors. Thank you to everyone who supported 4Roots this Giving Tuesday.
