LEONARD & MAJORIE WILLIAMS FAMILY YMCA
4Roots is excited to welcome The Leonard & Marjorie Williams Family YMCA to The Packing District. Located in the city park next to our Farm Campus, the YMCA is set to open March and will serve residents in the Packing District and surrounding communities as a hub for health and wellness, youth programming, fellowship, and more. The YMCA is currently offering charter memberships for this location that will provide access to the facility before the general public and other exclusive benefits.
Stop by the Packing District Farmers Market on March 25th to join the YMCA for a Community Block Party, and tour the new facility. EXTENDED farmers market hours this day will be 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
FEED THE NEED
4Roots’ Feed the Need program recently partnered with Light Orlando Volunteer Experience. Light Orlando’s mission is to unite Orlando area communities through the power of love through both small and large acts of community service. Members of Light Orlando helped clean and prep an area where 4Roots plans to help Hope Charter School grow food! 4Roots team member Josh Taylor said, “The crew came out and worked so hard to help us get our planting areas ready. We are so grateful!”

4Roots participated in Rollins Community Partner Fair, part of Rollins College’s 3rd Annual Thaddeus and Polly Seymour Acts of Kindness Day.
The 4Roots team and volunteers helped our friend Ray Warthen, CEO and Founder of Infinite Zion harvest sweet-belle oranges at his Groveland location.
