Farm Campus Update: Permit Secured!

We’re thrilled to announce that we received a permit to start the 4Roots Farm Campus project! A tree removal permit is in hand. Plans for the classroom building featuring flexible lab-style classrooms have been filed and are in review. Groundbreaking should take place this Spring.
Building the Farm Campus will happen over three phases. The classroom building is a key part of the first Education Phase. A teaching greenhouse and growing spaces are also included in the first phase of construction. When completed, the Education phase at the 4Roots Farm Campus will support unique sustainable agriculture programming offered in collaboration with community partners!
We’re seeking assistance with funding for the 4Roots Farm Campus and need your help! Lend your support to this important community project by donating a gift in any amount on our website today >

Donor Spotlight: Dr. Phillips Rotary

We would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Phillips Rotary for their generous contribution of $10,000 to our Feed The Need program. These funds are being used to sustain our Feed The Need food distribution and gardening efforts.
Through their annual “A Taste of Dr. Phillips” fundraiser, the Dr. Phillips Rotary Club has raised thousands of dollars to which they contribute 100% of all profits to support our community restaurants, their employees, and charities.

Take on Earth Day With Us!

On April 22, 1970, Senator Gaylord Nelson founded Earth Day to bring awareness to the environmental issues America was facing at the time.
The 4Roots Farm Campus will be a showcase for sustainability. From design and construction to growing and operations, the farm campus will highlight the importance of sustainable, earth-friendly practices to create a better and healthier future for our people and our planet. All of the growing systems on the farm campus including a hydroponic greenhouse, regenerative soil-based agriculture, permaculture landscaping, and more will demonstrate the importance of sustainable, closed-loop systems that minimize waste and promote the health of the entire system.
In honor of Earth Day, we are taking the whole month of April to raise funds to build these sustainable growing systems at the 4Roots Farm Campus! Please consider lending your support to this exciting community project!
