These organizations are committed to less food waste, less food miles, and more environmentally friendly farming practices.
Join us in making our planet greener and healthier! Support local farms by purchasing locally sourced produce from The Farmacy. Then, cut back onyour food waste by composting your food scraps with O-Town Compost.
What’s New On The Farm Campus?
Work continues on Phase I of the Farm Campus including the John Young Parkway entrance and the Education Center. The 4Roots team continues design work on additional Phase I elements including:
- The Barn
- Cooling House
- Compost area
- Box gardens
- Parking areas
- Community green

4Rivers & 4Roots Join Forces For Earth Day
On Earth Day, 4Roots and 4 Rivers Smokehouses partnered to distribute pollinator-friendly wildflower seeds to dine-in guests on Earth Day.
It is estimated that every three bites of food we eat is possible because of pollinators like bees and butterflies. But sadly, over the past 30 years pollinator populations have been declining due to loss of habitat, pests, pollution, pesticides, and a changing climate.
Join us in planting pollinator-friendly wildflowers at home! Together, we can make a big difference in the health of our community!

We are pleased to announce that the Williams Foundation has awarded a $1 million grant to be used for constructing, equipping, and furnishing the 4Roots Farm Campus. The stage on the community green will be recognized as the “Leonard and Marjorie Williams Family Pavilion” in honor of this generous gift.
