Dear Friends of the Farm,
Thank you for another season of support and encouragement of our vision at 4Roots for a better food future. In true Spring fashion, we expect to see continued growth in the construction of our Education Center. We are so excited to announce that we officially have electricity! Our self-sustaining state-of-the-art classrooms are right on track to open this year. Soon, we will welcome local classes of students on field trips to enjoy the use of the classrooms while getting a hands-on learning experience about food, health, and community right there on the farm campus.
Another exciting addition we have made this season is the debut of the 4Roots Mobile Market, funded by a grant from Humana, and CenterWell. The mobile unit is decked with optimal technology to transport fresh produce. The Mobile Market has enabled Meet The Need to broaden its reach by going to even more locations around Central Florida, distributing fresh produce in food-insecure areas. This first installment of this one-of-a-kind micro-market has the additional benefit of accepting WIC, SNAP, and FAB, making it all the more accessible.
The mission for a better food future continues, and your help can make our efforts go even further. Your support is important and will allow us to:
- Provide access to local fresh produce through our 4Roots mobile market.

- Provide training and mentoring to college students interested in agriculture.
