4Roots Hosts Inaugural Sprout Sprint and Harvest Festival in The Grove Park

Orlando, FL – October 12, 2023 – 4Roots is thrilled to announce the inaugural “Sprout Sprint” and Harvest Festival, set to take place on Saturday, October 28, 2023, in The Grove Park within The Packing District of Orlando.

These events are designed to provide a day of excitement and family-friendly entertainment, starting with the GFG Solutions Sprout Sprint 4K run through the picturesque trails of The Grove Park and the 4Roots Farm Campus. After the run, attendees are encouraged to don their costumes and join the family-friendly 4Roots Harvest Festival. A wide range of activities will be available, including:

• Live music performances by WholeLife Church.
• A community resource area, hosted by Light Orlando.
• A health and wellness area, hosted by WholeLife and AdventHealth University.
• Sponsor and vendor booths.
• A silent auction.
• The Packing District Farmers Market, featuring local food and artisan goods.
• A Pumpkin Patch.
• A Costume Contest.
• A Kids Zone with engaging activities and games.

4Roots Executive Director, Tommy Ward, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “We look forward to celebrating the beauty of the season and bringing the community together to achieve our mission of building solutions for a better food future. It will be a wonderful opportunity for the community to enjoy the new park and support local vendors while learning about our work at 4Roots.”
