Origin: A New Dining Series Begins at 4Roots Farm

Guests share a seasonal meal inside the Red Barn at 4Roots Farm, surrounded by greenery and warm wood.

Every memorable meal has an origin.

It begins long before a plate reaches the table, with a seed, a season, a farmer, an ingredient, a tradition, and the many hands and choices that shape what we ultimately eat.

This fall, 4Roots invites you to experience that story through Origin, a new monthly dining series at the 4Roots Farm Campus bringing together celebrated chefs, local farmers, and seasonal ingredients for one extraordinary evening each month.

Launching in October 2026 and continuing through May, Origin is designed to celebrate not simply what is on the plate, but everything that came before it.

Where the Story Begins

Each Origin dinner begins with the season.

4Roots Senior Culinary Director Chef Hari Pulapaka, a four-time James Beard Foundation Best Chef semifinalist and Food Network’s Chopped contestant, will collaborate with a celebrated guest chef and local farmers to create an original five-course menu inspired by what is fresh, available, and compelling at that particular moment.

Rather than beginning with a menu and sourcing ingredients to fit it, Origin looks first to the land and the people who tend it.

Ingredients will be sourced almost entirely from 4Roots Farm and neighboring Florida farms, allowing each dinner to become an exploration of place, season, culinary tradition, and the creativity of the chefs around the table.

And because the seasons never stand still, neither will Origin.

Each dinner happens once. One menu. One night. One moment in the season.

An Evening at the Farm

Origin is intentionally intimate, with just 60 seats available for each dinner.

The evening begins as daylight gives way to dusk in the Food Forest at the 4Roots Farm Campus. Guests are invited to explore, connect, and enjoy thoughtfully prepared hors d’oeuvres and beverages surrounded by the landscapes that help inspire the evening ahead.

From there, guests make their way to the iconic Red Barn, where a shared table awaits.

Over five courses with thoughtfully selected wine and beverage pairings, the chefs and farmers behind the evening become part of the experience, sharing the ingredients, inspiration, relationships, and traditions that brought each course to life.

Origin is fine dining, but it is also something more.

It is an opportunity to slow down, gather around a table, and experience food with a deeper sense of curiosity and wonder.

A New Story Every Month

From October through May, each Origin dinner will explore a different idea inspired by the rhythms of the season:

Fall Events:

ROOTS | October
Agricultural foundations, autumn harvests, and ancestral cooking traditions.

GATHER | November
Harvest, community, and the power of the shared table.

SPLENDOR | December
Winter abundance and the remarkable diversity of Florida’s growing season.

The theme may provide the starting point, but the season, farmer, ingredients, and chefs will determine where each evening ultimately goes.

Celebrated Chefs. Local Farmers. One Shared Table.

At the heart of Origin is collaboration.

Chef Hari will welcome a different guest chef to the Farm each month, inviting some of our region’s most talented culinary voices to interpret the season through their own experiences, traditions, and techniques.

The inaugural ROOTS dinner will feature acclaimed Orlando chef Kevin Fonzo, a James Beard Best Chef semifinalist and longtime champion of locally sourced ingredients.

In November, GATHER welcomes Chef Wendy Lopez, Executive Chef of Reyes Mezcaleria and Sparrow Wine Bar and a 2026 James Beard Best Chef semifinalist, for an evening inspired by harvest, community, and the shared table.

Additional guest chefs and collaborations will be revealed throughout the season.

Together with the farmers who grow the ingredients, these chefs will create experiences that could only happen in that place, during that season, around that particular table.

Dining With a Purpose

Origin also reflects something fundamental to the work of 4Roots: our food choices connect us to a much larger system.

Every ticket supports local farms and the mission of 4Roots to unearth the power of food to build healthy communities through greater food access, education, culinary health, agriculture, and stronger connections between people and where their food comes from.

By gathering around the Origin table, guests become part of that story.

Find Your Seat at the Table

Origin takes place once each month from October through May at the 4Roots Farm Campus in Orlando.

Tickets are $175 per guest and include the complete five-course dining experience with wine and beverage pairings. With only 60 seats available for each evening, availability is extremely limited.

Join the Origin list to be among the first to discover upcoming dates, guest chefs, and new experiences as they are released.

If the dinner you are hoping to attend is already sold out, join the waitlist on the ticket page. Should seats become available, we’ll have a way to reach you.

Because there will always be another season, another chef, another harvest, and another story waiting to be told.

Origin: not simply where food is served, but where its story begins.
