Local Produce Exchange

Program overview

Our Local Produce Exchange program encourages local produce buyers to commit their produce purchases to local farms, thus creating a huge, guaranteed demand for the farmers, reducing the mileage between harvest and consumption, and ultimately supporting our local economy. As the facilitator of this program, 4Roots receives a portion of each purchase to help fund programs that further support the mission of 4Roots.

  • Reduce carbon footprint by reducing food miles.
  • Contribute to a zero-waste cycle and diminish food waste.
