Walmart Partners With 4Roots To Encourage Protection Of Pollinators
May 2021
On May 11, Walmart provided 4Roots with pollinator plants for our garden at the 4Roots Co-Op and presented 4Roots with $20,000 to support our Feed The Need program.
It is estimated that every three bites of food we eat is possible because of pollinators like bees and butterflies. But sadly, over the past 30 years pollinator populations have been declining due to loss of habitat, pests, pollution, pesticides, and a changing climate. Walmart is committed to protecting pollinators and our food supply to build a greener and more sustainable future.
