Community in Action: 4Roots & Partners Deliver Hope at Feed-A-Palooza

Feed-A-Palooza is Orlando’s largest free drive-through grocery distribution event, bringing together dozens of local organizations and thousands of volunteers to fight hunger and empower hope. On Saturday, July 19, 2025, Meet the Need by 4Roots proudly joined more than 40 community partners outside Camping World Stadium at Tinker Field for what has become Orlando’s biggest day of giving back.

Led by One Heart for Women & Children and presented by AdventHealth, this powerful day of service offered far more than just food. Families had access to free groceries, hygiene kits, school supplies, haircuts, health screenings, and hot meals — all in a safe, welcoming space filled with connection and compassion.

“Everybody can sign up for school supplies today as well as getting free haircuts, being able to get free physicals and many of the other resources that they need along with the fresh, healthy food,” said Stephanie Bowman, Founder of One Heart for Women and Children. “I love that it came at the perfect time, as it always does.”

The timing of Feed-A-Palooza was perfect for many families preparing for back-to-school season. Attendees not only received free groceries but also discovered new community resources. “I came for the food but walked away with so much more,” said Jacqueline Jackson, one of the event participants. “It was overwhelming — in the best way — to see just how many resources are available for my family.”

Thanks to the incredible generosity of RC Hatton Farms and FreshPoint, Meet the Need contributed more than 6,000 pounds of fresh produce — part of over 60,000 total pounds of food and supplies distributed during the event. This fresh, nutritious food helped families stretch their grocery budgets at a time when many are feeling the pressure of rising costs.

Feed-A-Palooza is proof of what happens when neighbors, nonprofits, businesses, and volunteers unite with a shared purpose: to nourish families, strengthen community resilience, and spread hope.

One Heart for Women & Children, AdventHealth, RC Hatton Farms, FreshPoint, and every partner and volunteer made this incredible day possible. Together, we are building a future where everyone in Central Florida has access to healthy food and the resources they need to thrive.
