Give your little one the chance to learn, play, and experience adventures in agriculture with 4Roots Pre-K Days, a monthly program designed just for preschool-aged children (ages 3–5) and their caregivers!
In partnership with Nemours Children’s Health, this series introduces children and families to agricultural and nutrition concepts through sensory-rich, play-based experiences that spark curiosity about food, farming, and the environment.
Each Session Features
📖 Storytime: A thoughtfully chosen picture book connected to the month’s theme
🥕 Snack: A wholesome, theme-inspired treat
🎨 Activity: A guided craft or hands-on activity that encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and discovery
By blending reading, food, and nature-based play, children and caregivers can enjoy meaningful time together while building early learning skills.
This Month’s Theme: Rainbows 🌈
This month’s Pre-K day will celebrate Spring and all the colors it brings! They will learn about pollination, buzz around to different flowers like our favorite local pollinators, and enjoy the benefits of eating the rainbow!

Program Details
- For preschoolers ages 3–5 and their caregivers
- One ticket ($10) includes 1 child + 1 adult (an adult/cargiver must accompany child)
- Limited to 20 families per session for a personal, hands-on experience
- Held on the 4Roots Farm Campus
About the Partnership
Together, 4Roots and Nemours Children’s Health are helping children build a foundation for healthy futures. This year-long, monthly program connects young learners to the land, nutritious food, and their community, supporting both early education and long-term well-being.
