Give your little one the chance to learn, play, and experience adventures in agriculture with 4Roots Pre-K Days, a monthly program designed just for preschool-aged children (ages 3–5) and their caregivers!
In partnership with Nemours Children’s Health, this series introduces children and families to agricultural and nutrition concepts through sensory-rich, play-based experiences that spark curiosity about food, farming, and the environment.
Each Session Features
📖 Storytime: A thoughtfully chosen picture book connected to the month’s theme
🥕 Snack: A wholesome, theme-inspired treat
🎨 Activity: A guided craft or hands-on activity that encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and discovery
By blending reading, food, and nature-based play, children and caregivers can enjoy meaningful time together while building early learning skills.

Explore the hidden world of fungi as we read Fungi Grow by Maria Gianferrari and search the farm for nature’s tiny treasures. We’ll wrap up our adventure with a special snack and craft inspired by our woodland discoveries.
