Spring is a season of renewal—and this year, 4Roots is welcoming it in full color. On Saturday, March 28, the 4Roots Farm Campus will host our first-ever Spring Flower Festival, presented by Dr. Phillips Charities, and we couldn’t be more excited to open the farm for a day filled with flowers, family fun, gardening inspiration, and community joy. The festival is free to attend, making it an accessible and welcoming experience for families, neighbors, gardeners, and anyone who loves being outdoors. Throughout the day, guests will also have the chance to participate in special hands-on experiences and activities available for purchase, all designed to help you launch your own beautiful garden this spring.
From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, visitors can wander through displays of fresh-cut flowers, flowering plants, and nursery starts perfect for spring planting. Our U-Pick vegetable experience will offer a chance to harvest directly from the earth—an opportunity that brings excitement to children and adults alike. Whether you’re refreshing your home garden or planting for the first time, the festival offers everything you need to grow a vibrant, thriving space this season.
Families can enjoy live music, local food vendors, flower crown crafting, and a dedicated Kid’s Zone presented by AdventHealth, complete with a bounce house, scavenger hunt, and face painting. One of the most delightful moments of the day is the Lady Bug Release, a joyful experience that brings out smiles from every generation. Gardeners and aspiring growers can join educational classes and workshops led by local experts, offering practical guidance on topics like soil health, composting, container gardening, and the best spring planting tips. These hands-on sessions are designed to give you confidence, inspiration, and the tools to cultivate your own garden at home.
To capture the beauty of the season, guests can enjoy a spring-themed photo op—perfect for marking the arrival of warmer days and new growth on the farm.
