We are honored and thrilled to share that 4Roots has been named one of three honorees for Innovation & Excellence in Fundraising at this year’s National Philanthropy Day Awards, hosted by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Central Florida Chapter.
This recognition shines a spotlight on our shared mission to unearth the power of food to build healthy communities and celebrates the creative ways we engage donors, inspire giving, and fuel lasting change.
“Fundraising is about more than dollars raised—it’s about building a movement that brings people together to solve big challenges,” said Ellen Winter, Executive Director of the 4Roots Foundation. “This honor reflects the generosity of our community and the dedication of countless partners who believe food has the power to heal people and the planet.”
On Friday, November 21, 2025, we’ll join other honorees live on stage at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando to celebrate National Philanthropy Day — a day dedicated to recognizing the people and organizations shaping Central Florida through the power of giving.
This honor belongs to you — our families, corporate partners, donors, volunteers, farmers and neighbors who stand with us. Every step forward, from building the 4Roots Farm Campus to expanding Meet the Need, growing our education programs, nurturing regenerative agriculture initiatives, launching food as medicine classes and more, is powered by this incredible community.
Together, we are cultivating a stronger, healthier, and more resilient food system for generations to come — and this recognition is proof that the movement we are building is growing stronger every day.
