Growing More Together: Thank You, Massey Services

We are thrilled to share some exciting growth at the 4Roots Farm Campus — made possible by the incredible generosity and expertise of Massey Services.

A dedicated team of Massey Services volunteers, led by Bill Cohn, Director of Quality Assurance for the GreenUP Landscape Services division, spent a full day under the Florida sun digging trenches, laying piping, and installing a brand-new irrigation system. Their hard work expands our farm’s planting capacity, allowing us to grow more crops, diversify production, and strengthen our ability to give back to the community through programs like Meet the Need.

“At 4Roots, we believe meaningful change happens when the community comes together,” said Ellen Winter, Executive Director at 4Roots Foundation. “Thanks to Massey Services’ expertise and generosity, we can maximize our growing potential, reduce water waste, and provide more fresh, local produce to the Central Florida community.”

This project is about more than irrigation — it’s about building a stronger, more resilient food system. By partnering with businesses like Massey Services, we are advancing our mission to connect people to where food comes from, how it’s grown, and why it matters. Together, we’re promoting responsible farming practices, expanding access to fresh food, and deepening our community’s connection to health, the environment, and local agriculture.

We are grateful to Massey Services for their commitment to sustainability and their partnership in growing a healthier future for Central Florida.
